About US

The Institute for Appreciative Advising is a training and research organization with the mission to promote and support the continuous improvement of professional academic advising and other student support professions through the application of Appreciative Advising. The members of the Institute are faculty and professional advisors who, by building on research, professional wisdom, and craft knowledge, develop strength-based tools, processes, and interventions designed to assist practitioners and policymakers with their work.
